MISSION - What I Do
"… decades
of difficulties, mistakes, hesitant experimentation, set backs and partial successes that have brought discredit on our continent
will not have been in vain if we have the courage to carry out critical assessment of the situation, examine our own consciences,
recognize our inadequacies and weaknesses and draw, with humility, all the appropriate lessons from it with a view to a new
start.” (Audience Africa, Paris, 1995) "These words of
African political leaders at a meeting in Paris, in part, define my mission," says Dr. Willy Addai
Willy Addai is working on a center for
Africa Leadership Studies "CALS".
He has also been teaching throughout Africa. He is a catalyst for transformational leadership in existing universities
and colleges. Willy Addai provides African
leaders with the opportunity to examine the past, the requirements of the present, the demands of the future and the realities
of the current global arena. He has been
assisting African Leaders to develop holistic
ministry models that will secure the spiritual, economic, social and political progress of the continent.
His center for African Leadership
Studies serves as a catalyst for the comprehensive development of new African leadership mindset. He is making CALS function as “clearinghouse”
for innovative African leadership reforms.
Willy Addai motivates participants
in his courses and seminars to dream new dreams and envision possibilities.
Willy Addai facilitates the making of new African leaders for 21st century Africa; leaders
who will creatively search for answers to Africa’s present crises.
Willy Addai is trail blazing new track for positive change. He identifies and trains creative and inventive Christian men and women
who are committed to making a difference in their countries and communities, whether it be religious, economic or political
life.
Willy Addai challenges African Christians
to understand the call of God as a call to a holistic leadership. To understand God's presence as core
to who we are, what we learn and do, how and why we influence others, as well as where we lead our followers.
Willy Addai strongly believes God’s presence enables leaders to function effectively and finish well.
He agrees with George Kinoti that “If African people are to survive and enjoy the spiritual, moral and material well being, which I believe God wills for them, African Christians must become active participants in the search for lasting solutions to the severe economic, political and social problems which face all of
us…”George Konoti, 1994, AIRSRED; Nairobi, Kenya.
